There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 2.

The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as under: "... to issue a writ, order or direction particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No.2-police in interfering with the civil disputes between the petitioners and the respondentNo.4 in respect of the land in Sy.No.56 of Anamarlapudi village, Pedakakani mandal, Guntur district, as illegal and ultra vires to the provisions of the Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India besides directing not to interfere with the civil disputes." 3.

Learned GP appearing for respondent Nos. 1 and 2 filed a counter stating that except conducting an enquiry into the petition submitted to the Superintendent of Police, Guntur Urban by one Mr. Ganuga Sambaiah and eight others, respondent No.2 neither summoned the petitioners nor interfered with their peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject lands. Respondent No.2 never interfered with the civil disputes much less, the disputes of the petitioners with respondent No.4.

Learned counsel for respondent No.4 brought to the notice of this Court that respondent No.4 died long back.

Be that as it may, in the light of the statement made in the counter affidavit by respondent No.2 that he is not interfering with the possession and enjoyment of the petitioners and not interfering in the civil disputes, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required in this Writ Petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
