The petitioner/ accused filed this Criminal Petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., seeking release in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.310 of 2017 of Mushirabad Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 420, 376(1) and 506 I.P.C. and Sections 3(2)(v)(a) and 3(1)(r)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

As the matter is already posted under the caption 'for dismissal', but for, seeking adjournment, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not prepared to argue the matter on merits and even from perusal of the material on record, there is nothing to grant concession of anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed. 4.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any shall stand closed.
