Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.3 to consider and decide his application/representation, dated 01.06.2015 (annexure P.5). The application/representation, dated 01.06.2015 is made by the petitioner under Rule 448-B of the Andhra Pradesh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 for similar relief as prayed in the instant Writ Petition.

Learned Government Pleader for Transport appearing for the respondents submits that respondent No.3 shall consider and decide the petitioner's application/representation within a period of ten days from today. He undertakes to communicate this order to respondent No.3 on or before 15.06.2015.

His statement is recorded and accepted. In view thereof, we are satisfied that this petition can be conveniently disposed of by the following order:

"Respondent No.3 shall consider and decide the petitioner's application/representation, dated 01.06.2015 (annexure P.5) within ten days from today. Respondent No.3 shall communicate the order to the petitioner immediately thereafter and in any case, within a period of one week from the date of the order. It is needless to mention that respondent No.3 shall consider and decide the petitioner's application/representation on merits in accordance with law. All contentions of the parties are kept open. It is made clear that while passing this order, we have not considered merits of the case." With these observations, Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of.
