THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 1406 of 2017 ORDER:
This writ petition was filed seeking direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 not to summon and detain the petitioners with regard to false criminal cases filed against Md.Amanullah Shareef, husband of petitioner No.1 and father of petitioner Nos.2 to 5 and allow them to enjoy the property bearing H.No.21-4-97, Moosa Bowli, Hussaini Alam, Hyderabad.
Respondent No.3 filed a counter-affidavit stating that the husband of petitioner No.1 is a rowdy-sheeter of Hussaini Alam Police Station and involved in eight criminal cases. In view of the involvement of the husband of petitioner No.1 in the said cases, a rowdy sheet was opened as per proceedings of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Charminar, Hyderabad, dated 25.01.2015, and the rowdy-sheet is being continued up to 31.12.2017. In view of the same, it cannot be said that the petitioners are harassed. In view of the apprehension of the petitioners, it is needless to observe that the Police while investigating any criminal case shall follow due process of law.
The writ petition is accordingly closed.
