Learned Assistant Government Pleader representing the learned Advocate General (TG) states that Crime No.189 of 2016 was registered on the file of Kanchanbagh Police Station in relation to this case under the caption 'woman missing'.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader further states that, thereafter, the wife of the petitioner was traced out and she returned to the matrimonial home and the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
