THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE T. VINOD KUMAR WRIT PETITION NO.20571 OF 2019 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner to declare the action of the 3rd respondent in interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioner by summoning them to the police station without there being any complaint against them as being illegal, arbitrary and in violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions dated 20.09.2019, submits that basing on the Court endorsement on the complaint of one Sri Vazeer Shiva Kumar, a case was registered in Crime No.224 of 2019 under Sections 420, 406, 506 IPC of Chaitanyapuri police station by the 3rd respondent and during the course of investigation, the statement of one Sri Punna Srisailam was recorded as L.W-3 wherein he has stated that the petitioner and his son have sold the land to him, but did not give the original link documents No.5285/1980. On the basis of the said statement made by L.W-3, in order to investigate into the matter, the petitioners were called on to the police station and also to produce the link documents, but the petitioners have

failed to produce the documents apprehending that they would be made as accused in the said crime.

Learned Government Pleader for Home further submits that the petitioners are being called to the police station in connection with the completing of the investigation into the above crime and the police are not interfering with the life and liberty of the petitioner or otherwise.

Recording the said submission of the Learned Government Pleader for Home, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.

The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
