Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents.

2. The petitioner is the son of an ex-serviceman who was allotted Ac.5.00 cts in Sy. No.100 of Pamidipadu village, Nuzenla Mandal, Guntur District on 14-08-1981. Petitioner's father died in 1996 and the above land was devolved on the petitioner under a Will executed by his father. In order to raise resources for undergoing a heart operation since the petitioner did not have adequate funds, he applied to 2nd respondent for No Objection Certificate (NOC) to sell the said land on 09-01-2014. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after that nothing has happened in the matter and 2nd respondent has not passed any orders on the petitioner's application for requesting NOC for sale of the above land. 4.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents states that 2nd respondent will pass orders on the petitioner's application within eights weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

Recording the said submission, the Writ

Petition is disposed of directing 2nd respondent to pass orders on the application of the petitioner for issuance of No Objection Certificate of the above land within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision thereon to the petitioner. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
