Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for respondents. With their consent, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

Since this Court is not going into the merits of the case, issuing notice to the 5th respondent may not be necessary. 3.

The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, to declare the inaction of the Respondent authorities in taking steps to delete the name of the 5th respondent from the revenue records in respect of petitioners' lands admeasuring Ac. 1.50 cents, Ac. 0.18 cents, Ac. 0.41 cents, Ac.0.30 cents, Ac.0.79 cents, Ac.1.23 cents and Ac.1.00 cents in Sy.No. 128/3P, 50/1P, 128/3P, 110/3A, 128/1, 131/1B and 131/1A situated at Pakapudi village, Balayapalli Mandal, SPSR Nellore District inspite of the repeated visits followed by written representation dt. 11.5.2015 and 22-6-2015, as being illegal, arbitrary, unjust, and consequently direct the respondents to delete the name of the 5th respondent and enter the names of the petitioners in the revenue records in respect of the above said lands."

On 13.07.2015 this Court, passed the following order: "The petitioners appear to have made a representation before the District Collector, Nellore, for correction of entries in the revenue record. As per Rules, the petitioners must approach the Mandal Revenue Officer with appropriate application.

CPK,J WP_21387_2016 Learned counsel for the petitioners states that he will advice the petitioners accordingly.

List after four (04) weeks.

Meanwhile, the petitioners are at liberty to make appropriate application before the competent authority."

From the reading of the above, it is clear that the petitioners herein were given an opportunity to approach the competent authority for correction of entries in the revenue records. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioners though submits that the petitioners made an application, but copy of the same is not placed before this Court.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that if any representation is made before the competent authority, the authorities shall pass orders thereon, in accordance with law. 7.

Having regard to the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities to pass appropriate orders on the representation made by the petitioners, if such representation is made and still pending consideration, pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 13.07.2015, in accordance with law, at the earliest. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
