THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.17752 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for GHMC, appearing for the respondents.

When the matter is taken up, proceedings No./A1/cir23/GHMC/2018, dated 12.06.2018, of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Moosapet Circle-23, GHMC-second respondent herein, is placed on record by the learned Standing Counsel. The penultimate paragraph of the said proceedings reads as under:

"Finally, the representation under the reference 4th cited has been examined and it is informed that this office has not proceeded further against the applicant for recovery of any dues and the notice issued vide reference 2nd cited has terminated as the same was issued during the financial year 2017-18 as per the provisions of Section 276 of the GHMC Act, 1955 the tenant is liable to pay the property tax of the premises for only one year and the notice is not in force during the current financial year 201819 as it is valid only till 31.02.2018". Having regard to the contents of the above proceedings, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition by placing on record the above said instructions furnished by the second respondent herein.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
