This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'Cr.P.C.') to quash the proceedings in Crime No.75 of 2014 of Kovvur Rural Police Station, West Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 506 of IPC. 2.

During hearing, learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Andhra Pradesh submitted that case in Cr.No.75 of 2014 on the file of Kovur Police Station was ended in compromise through an Award dt. 14.10.2016. In that view of the matter, the cause in this Petition does not arise for adjudication.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
