THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.14242 of 2016 ORDER:
This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/accused Nos.2 to 7 in Crime No.328 of 2016 on the file of the Station House Officer, Medipally Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A, 323 and 506 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner and the first respondent-de facto complainant have settled the matter before the Lok Adalat on 24.3.2017. In view of the submission made by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the purpose of filing of the criminal petition has become infructuous.

Hence, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
