ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: "to pass an order or orders one in the nature of Writ of Certiorari declaring the action of the impugned Letter of Scheme for OTS of NPAs and AUCAs (SBI OTS 2019), dated 30.08.2019 of the respondent No.1-bank for claiming of Rs. 34,97,256/- and OTS amount is Rs.25,74, 463/- in spite of the petitioner paid an amount of Rs.2,02,000/- dated 31.03.2018 as per the Letter of Government of Telangana vide D.O.Lr.No.67/D/M(IT) MA and UD, I&C PE, NRI(NA)/2018, date 12.03.2018 and the petitioner is not having any due to the respondent authorities is illegal, arbitrary and against the principal of natural justice."

Heard learned counsel on either side.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that the respondent-Bank is not considering the case of the petitioner for payment of 10% of the outstanding amount under OTS for Siricilla Weavers.

Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Bank contended that if the petitioner is willing to pay 10% of the outstanding amount, his case can be considered under OTS for Siricilla Weavers.

Having considered the rival submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is of the considered

view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to pay 10% of the outstanding amount to the respondent-Bank within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say that the respondent-Bank shall consider the case of the petitioner under OTS for Siricilla Weavers and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks thereafter, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
