ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not implementing the reservation (classification of A, B, C, D and E groups) while conducting the elections for the Municipalities and Nagar Panchayats in the State of Telangana, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to G.O.Ms.No.1793, dated 23.09.1970. At the hearing, Mr.A.Satya Prasad, learned senior counsel representing Mr.Prakash Buddarapu, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that in view of the recent amendment made to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955, his clients seek to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to them to file a fresh writ petition challenging the said amendment. The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners in terms of the prayer made.

As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.49799 of 2015 filed
