HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITON No. 11476 of 2003 O R D E R:

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent-Society to release the retirement benefits viz., gratuity and leave encashment amount.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though he retired from service on 30.06.2001, the respondent-Society did not settle his retiral benefits as stated above.

In that view of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner for release of retiral benefits such as gratuity and leave encashment amount if not already paid, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ Petition shall stand closed.
