When this matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioners. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that the services of the petitioners were regularized vide proceedings dated 9.8.2012 and therefore, the cause in this writ petition does not survive.

In view of the above submission, this Court is of the view that no further orders are necessary in this writ petition.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
