Heard Mr.L.J.Veera Reddy for petitioners.

Having regard to the stand taken in the counter affidavit of respondents 1 and 2 and alleged patent illegalities in the decision of respondents, counsel for petitioners requests the court to permit the petitioners to challenge the conversion of patta land into assessed waste and also assignment in favour of respondents 3 and 4 or any person in appropriate proceedings. Leave as prayed for is granted.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
