HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION NO:10287 OF 2009 ORDER:

1. This writ petition is filed by the petitioners challenging the notification issued by the 1st respondent, dated 4.5.2009 proposing to conduct the auction of the lands in their possession, for a period of three years from 2009-2010 to 2011-2012.

2. On 20.5.2009, while admitting the writ petition, this Court granted interim suspension of all further proceedings.

3. The notification under challenge was issued proposing to auction the property in question for a period of three years only i.e., from 2009-2010 to 2011-2012. The said period has already elapsed. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition and hence, the writ petition has become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. No order as to costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________ Justice Raja Elango Date:30.3.2015 NN
