THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.12265 of 2015 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/accused in Crime No.112 of 2015 of Shalibanda Police Station, Hyderabad, registered under Sections 507 and 509 IPC.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor representing the State.

A perusal of the record reveals that the petitioners are accused Nos.1 and 2 and the second respondent is the de facto complainant. As per the allegations made in the complaint, the first petitioner and his friends harassed the complainant. It is further alleged that the first petitioner threatened her with dire consequences.

A perusal of the record reveals that the petitioners are facing trial in C.C.No.375 of 2015 for the offences under Section 498-A IPC and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into consideration the nature of allegations made in the complaint, the Station House Officer, Shalibanda Police Station, Hyderabad City is hereby directed not to arrest the petitioners in Crime No.112 of 2015 till completion of investigation.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
