Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner applied for certified copy of death certificate of Smt. K.Eragamma to the 3rd respondent by paying requisite fee by way of challan on 27.10.2015. The petitioner also sent a legal notice on 17.12.2015 requesting the 3rd respondent to furnish the same. In that notice, it was mentioned that a death certificate was issued by the then Tahsildar to some other party earlier. It is also stated that the petitioner required the death certificate to be produced in a pending suit in O.S.No.150 of 2014 before the Senior Civil Judge, Puttur. Alleging inaction, the present writ petition is filed. I do not see any reason as to why the 3rd respondent has not considered the petitioner's request for grant of certified copy of the death certificate. Since the petitioner is stated to have paid the requisite fee, the 3rd respondent shall consider his request and issue appropriate orders expeditiously.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition shall stand closed.
