THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE NO.2047 OF 2012

O R D E R

Sri N.Aswartha Narayana, learned counsel representing Sri Kata Sambasiva Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the petitioner does not wish to pursue the criminal complaint lodged by her which led to the registration of Crime No.85 of 2010 on the file of I Town Police Station, Hindupur, Anantapur District. The order passed by this Court, alleged disobedience to which led to the filing of this contempt case, required the police authorities to complete investigation in the said crime and file a report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. within a time frame. As the petitioner is now no longer desirous of pursuing the criminal proceedings which were initiated by her against her family members, no cause is made out for exercise of contempt jurisdiction. The contempt case is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
