THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.5292 of 2004 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of mandamus declaring that the proceedings Ref.No.HRM/MTH/S.1/2004, dated 23.2.2004 issued by the 2nd respondent in reducing the age of retirement on superannuation from 60 years to 58 years and asking the petitioner to retire from service on 31.3.2004 as illegal, unjust, contrary to law, arbitrary, discriminatory, in violation of principles of natural justice and also in violation of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India; and grant all consequential benefits.

2. The cause of action for filing the writ petition has become infructuous.

Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
