This Writ Petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in not handing over an extent of Ac.0.05 cents of land in Survey No.296/1/A/1 within the specified boundaries pursuant to the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 18.09.2014. 2.

It appears that the third respondent expressed helplessness in evicting the encroachers from the said land and in those circumstances, the third respondent was asked to appear before this Court. The third respondent accordingly appeared and gave an undertaking on 15.12.2017 to initiate steps to evict the encroachers. 3.

Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader produced before this Court a communication issued by the Collector and District Magistrate to him on 15.01.2018 stating that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Naidupet, reported that the possession of site to an extent of Ac.0.05 cents in Survey No.296/1/A/1 of Vinnamala Village, Naidupet Mandal, was handed over physically to the petitioner by evicting the encroachers under proper acknowledgment.

In view of the same, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition and accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.
