When the matter is taken up for hearing, it has been contended by the learned Standing Counsel that the petitioner has sought a relief of compassionate appointment, but during pendency of this writ petition, on 22.07.2008 the petitioner has received an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- towards additional monetary compensation in lieu of compassionate appointment.

The above said fact was not disputed by the learned counsel for petitioner.

In view of the same, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.
