WRIT PETITION No.39187 of 2015 ORDER :

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not conducting interviews for the post of Anganwadi Worker & Anganwadi Aaya of Basvana Palli Village, H/o.Utukur, Parigi Mandal, Anantapur Distirct.

2. Learned Government Pleader produced written instructions furnished by the Project Director, District Women & Child Development Agency, Ananthapuram. The written instructions discloses that the petitioner was considered and having found that she does not belong to the same village, treating her as non-local, her application was rejected and she was not called for interview held on 28.10.2015. Learned Government Pleader further states that selection was already finalized and selected candidate was issued appointment order on 25.11.2015 but she did not join in the said post.

3. Since the claim of the petitioner was rejected on the ground that the petitioner is not a local candidate of the place where the Anganwadi Centre is located, the writ petition merits no consideration and is liable to be dismissed.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to work out her remedies against declaring her as a non-local candidate of Basavana Palli Village. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
