THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.20686 of 2019 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners with a prayer to issue a writ of mandamus to declare the inaction n the part of the 2nd respondent in considering the applications of the petitioners for grant of door numbers to their respective plots, as arbitrary and illegal and arbitrary and consequently, direct the respondents to consider the applications of the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioners is that though they made applications to the 2nd respondent - Panchayat Secretary, Nanda Thanda Gram Panchayat, for assigning door numbers to their respective plots, the same is not considered by the 2nd respondent.

4. Since the grievance of the petitioners is pending before the 2nd respondent by way of applications, it is for the 2nd respondent to consider the said applications and pass orders in accordance with law.

5. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the applications of the petitioners and pass orders in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
