Mr.T.C.D.Sekhar, holding for Mr.P.Venugopal, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the cause in the writ petitions does not survive for consideration. His statement is placed on record. The writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. Interim order, if any, granted shall be deemed to have been vacated. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions in the writ petitions, if any, also stand closed.
