This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner, to quash the proceedings in FIR No.66 of 2018 of Madgul Police Station, Rachakonda District, registered for the offences under Sections 354-A IPC and Section 3 (1) (w) (i) of SCs and STs Act. During hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner requested this Court to direct the Station House Officer, Madgul Police Station, Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, Madgul Mandal, to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Dr.

Subhash Kashinath Mahajan v State of Maharashtra and another1 Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Station House Officer, Madgul Police Station, Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, Madgul Mandal, are directed to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in the judgment referred supra. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
