THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 17235 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home.

With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The grievance of the petitioner is that though a case in Crime No.23 of 2016 of Hanuman Junction Police Station, Hanuman Junction, Krishna District came to be registered against respondent Nos.5 to 9 for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 509 read with Section 34 of IPC and Section 3(x) of SC/ST Atrocities Act on 02.02.2016, but, till date the police are not proceeding further with the investigation.

Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the investigating agency to complete the investigation at the earliest. Learned Government Pleader submits that she has no objection for the same.

Having regard to the circumstances stated above and without going into merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Station House Officer, Hanuman Junction Police Station, Hanuman Junction, Krishna District, to complete the investigation in Crime No. 23 of 2016 of Hanuman Junction Police Station, Hanuman Junction, Krishna District, at the earliest, and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three to six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed in the

light of this final order. No order as to costs. _____________________ JUSTICE PRAVEEN KUMAR 03.06.2016 vhb
