THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.24327 OF 2004 ORDER:

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the writ petition against respondent No.3 was dismissed for default, by order, dated 17.11.2014, and the petitioner has not taken any steps to ensure that the writ petition against respondent No.3 is restored, when the petitioner is challenging the action of respondents in selecting respondent No.3 for appointment as lecturer in English. In the absence of respondent No.3, the writ petition cannot be adjudicated. Accordingly, the present Writ Petition is dismissed. However, in the circumstances of the case, there shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the present writ petition stand closed.
