Petitioner claims to be resident of Tangutur Village and Mandal, Prakasam District. According to the petitioner there is a big water tank extending to Ac.16.49 cents in Sy.No.1249. According to the petitioner this water tank serves all irrigation and drinking water needs of the villagers. However, there is an attempt to encroach into the water tank and shrink the extent of water tank.

When the matter is heard for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the writ petition to avail appropriate remedies as available in law.

Granting the said liberty, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
