THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO Writ Petition Nos.16390 and 16425 of 2015 COMMON ORDER:
Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for the respondents.
The case of the petitioners in both the writ petitions is that election notification dated 21.05.2015 was issued for conducting elections to the Penuganchiprolu Fishermen Cooperative Society, Penuganchiprolu, Krishna District and the Election Officer was also appointed. The election was scheduled to be conducted on 05.06.2015. However, due to some problem, the election was not conducted on the said date and the fifth respondent-Election Officer is not proceeding with the election.
In the circumstances, these writ petitions are disposed of directing the fifth respondent-Election Officer to continue the election process from where it was stopped in accordance with the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act, and complete the same, within a period of three months from the date of receipt a copy of this order. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in both the writ petitions shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ________________________________ (A.
