Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.
The prayer sought in the Writ Petition is as under: "...to issue a Writ or Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, declaring the action of the respondents in awarding 3786 State Rank to the petitioner and on other hand awarding 3372 State Rank to the 4th respondent, who got lesser rank in All India Level i. e., 47867 than that of the petitioner i. e., 20068 in All India Level in the Results declared for Joint Entrance Examination 2013 as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, violation of principles of natural justice and against Art. 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to award correct State Rank to the petitioner keeping in view of his All India Rank by rectifying the above disparity."

Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 would submit that in the light of the order sought in the Writ Petition, no further cause would survive in the present Writ Petition and hence, the Writ Petition has become infructuous. 4.
Taking into consideration the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
