THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.27991 of 2011 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner in this case was that the police authorities were not registering a case despite her complaint dated 15.09.2010.

Relying on the written instructions dated 15.06.2015 received from the Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Tuni Town Police Station, East Godavari District, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home informed this Court that the Register of Tuni Town Police Station did not reflect receipt of the complaint dated 15.09.2010 said to have been lodged by the petitioner.

Sri Ch.Ravi Kumar, learned counsel representing Sri T.M.K.Chaitanya, learned counsel for the petitioner, upon being apprised of this fact, sought an adjournment and after obtaining instructions, he now states that the matter may be closed leaving it open to the petitioner to file a fresh complaint before the concerned police authorities.

In that view of the matter, the writ petition is dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to file a fresh complaint before the Tuni Town Police Station, in the event her grievance against the private respondents still subsists.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
