This Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashment of proceedings in F.I.R.No.440 of 2016 of P.S. Rajendranagar, Rangareddy District, registered for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 465, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 156 (3) of the Criminal Procedure Code, against the petitioners/accused No.1 and 2.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State has submitted a Letter dated 29.12.2022 stating that the FIR No.440 of 2016 has been referred as 'civil in nature' on 13.11.2020.

The same is recorded.

In view of the above submission, since the very purpose of filing this Criminal Petition is already been

defeated, no purpose would survive to proceed with this Criminal Petition and the same has become infructuous. 06.

In view of the above, this Criminal Petition is liable to be dismissed.

07.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending Miscellaneous Applications in this matter, if any, shall stand closed.
