THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T. SUNIL CHOWDARY CIVIL REVISION PETITION No.1467 of 2016 ORDER:

This civil revision petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India challenging the inaction on the part of the Court of Senior Civil Judge, Machilipatnam in disposing of I.A. No.48 of 2014 in O.S. No.205 of 2014.

A perusal of the record reveals that the respondents herein have filed O.S. No.205 of 2014 for perpetual injunction against the petitioner herein. Along with the suit, the respondents have filed I.A. No.48 of 2014 seeking ad interim injunction. The trial court granted status quo on 01.7.2014 and has been extending the same order from time to time.

At the time of arguments, learned counsel for both the parties submitted that the trial court may be directed to dispose of I.A. as early as possible.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and also the submission made by both the counsel, the trial court is hereby directed to dispose of the I.A. as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the civil revision petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this revision petition shall stand closed.
