Heard.
The grievance of the petitioner is that he has made an application on 18.04.2012 before the 2nd respondent seeking no objection to alienate the land on the ground that he is Ex-Servicemen and he is entitled to alienate the land in terms of G.O.Ms.No.1117 Revenue (Assignment. I) Department, dated 11.11.1993. The petitioner states that the 2nd respondent has already called for report from the 3rd respondent on 30.07.2015 followed by further letter dated 27.09.2014, but no further action is taken either by the 2nd or 3rd respondent. The petitioner also stated to have approached the Hon'ble Minister for Revenue and Deputy Chief Minister for the said grievance. Whereupon, the Hon'ble Minister for Revenue and Deputy Chief Minister stated to have endorsed on the application on 05.09.
2014 to the District Collector to re-examine the matter and take necessary action. As no action is taken by the respondents, the petitioner filed the present writ petition. In view of the fact that the reports were already called for by the 2nd respondent from the 3rd respondent as noted by the Hon'ble Minister, it is appropriate for the 2nd respondent to examine the petitioner's request in the light of the report if any and take appropriate decision in the matter and communicate the same to the petitioner preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
