These three writ petitions were filed challenging the Circular dated 23.04.2012 issued by the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) in relation to Traffic Guides.

It is now stated by Sri A. Rama Rao, learned standing counsel for the APSRTC that Circular No.PD12/2014 dated 09.04.2014 has now been issued in the context of Traffic Guides and the guidelines formulated thereunder have now been implemented.

In that view of the matter, the challenge in these writ petitions to the earlier Circular dated 23.04.2012 does not survive for consideration and these writ petitions are accordingly closed leaving it open to the petitioners to challenge the subsequent Circular in accordance with law if they are aggrieved thereby. Needless to state that the Traffic Guides who are continued in service pursuant to the interim orders
granted in these writ petitions would be considered in terms of the new guidelines framed under the Circular dated 09.04.2014.
4. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
