THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION NO.5357 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioners seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.26 of 2012 on the file of Shahalibanda Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A 406 and 420 IPC and 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on written instructions submits that police after completion of investigation filed final report stating that action dropped. Under these circumstances, nothing survives for adjudication.

Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
