ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to release the Goods Carriage-LMV vehicle bearing No.AP 21 TX 5704 to the petitioner.
The petitioner is the owner of the said vehicle, which was involved in a forest offence vide No.54/15-16 under Section 29 (2) (b) of the A.P. Forest Act, Sections 27 & 29 read with 51 of Wild Life Protection Act, 1972 and Section 379 IPC. He claims that he is eaking out his livelihood by plying the said vehicle and that continuous seizure of the same is affecting his livelihood. The petitioner submitted an application before the 1st respondent on 21.7.2017 for interim custody of the seized vehicle and when no orders were passed thereon, the present writ petition is filed. In spite of granting sufficient time, learned Government Pleader for Forest did not get any instructions. In the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the application dated 21.7.2017 filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders
thereon within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
