Mohammed Gayasuddin, learned counsel representing Sri K.R.Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioners, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition, if the cause of action survives.

No objection is expressed by the learned Assistant Solicitor General appearing for respondent.

Statement is placed on record.

Permission is accorded and this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting liberty as prayed for. There shall be no order as to costs.

The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
