THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.6932 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is filed by the Petitioners-Respondent Nos.2 to 14 seeking to quash the proceedings in D.V.C.No.7 of 2016, on the file of the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, L.B. Nagar, Ranga Reddy District. Heard and perused the material available on record. The 2nd respondent - de facto complainant filed the present complaint against the petitioners seeking certain reliefs under the provisions of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Hence, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the further proceedings against the petitioners.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners while not pressing for the main prayer, confined his arguments only to the extent of dispensing with the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court.

In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners and considering the nature of allegations wherein the question of identity of the petitioners does not arise, their presence before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates of framing of charges, if any, examination under Section 313 Cr.P.C., and also on the date of pronouncement of judgment and the petitioners shall be properly represented by their counsel before the trial Court on all hearing dates.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Miscellaneous petitions filed in this Criminal Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
