G. Pattabhi Ramaiah, v. Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation,
THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. SHANKAR NARAYANA WRIT PETITION Nos. 8050 and 10559 of 2013 Common Order: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) Sri T.S. Venkataramana, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Revenue and Sri S. Lakshminarayana Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the G.V.M.C., would submit that, in view of the interim orders passed by this Court during the pendency of the writ petitions, no further orders are necessary in these writ petitions. Sri T.S.
Venkataramana, learned counsel for the petitioners, would however, contend that the observations in the sanction plan that sanction was granted subject to the result of the curative petition pending before the Supreme Court, must be deleted since the curative petition has been dismissed. In case the curative petition has been dismissed, the concerned authorities of the G.V.M.C. shall, on the petitioners approaching them in this regard, take necessary action in accordance with law to delete such observations in the sanctioned plan.
The writ petitions are, accordingly, closed. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
