Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration. 2.

Petitioner is claiming to be the Union representing the Sanitary Field Assistants, Sweepers etc., working in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), working regularly and engaged by the contractors who were entrusted with the work of maintaining cleanliness within the GHMC limits. Petitioner-Union alleges that the contractors are assigned contracts with prescribed jurisdictional area limits and the employees are engaged by the respective contractors. While so, the Municipal Corporation is now transferring the contract employees-members of the petitionerunion outside the jurisdictional limit of their employer and the same is illegal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that no written orders are issued, but only oral directions are issued and under the oral directions they are compelled to work at various places outside the limits of their employer. Petitioner-union claims that ventilating their grievance a representation was made on 22.05.2018 to the Commissioner, GHMC, Hyderabad. Alleging inaction on the representation and continuing to indulge in transferring the members of the petitioner-union, this writ petition is filed.

Learned Standing counsel, on instructions, submits that no transfers are effected by the Corporation and the Corporation is no

way concerned with the service conditions of the employees engaged by the contractors and only a false allegation is made. 5.

In view of the said submission and in the absence of written directions issued by the GHMC, the cause in the writ petition does not survive. If the members of the petitioner-union have any grievance against their employers asking them to work outside the limits of their employer, it is for them to work out their remedies as available in law, as the Corporation is no way concerned. 6.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
