The petitioner, in the instant public interest litigation (PIL), seeks the following relief:

"For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or direction more particularly one the in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents: (i) in not implementing liquor prohibition in the interest of public (ii) in implementing the new liquor policy vide G.O.No.216, Revenue (Excise-II) Dept, dated 22.06.2015 which has been resulting in huge loss to public money, apart from damage to public health and safety as illegal, unjust and unfair, contrary to the Rule of Law and also violation of Article 14, 21, 47 of Constitution of India."

The petitioner has not made any other prayer in the petition. Perusal of the prayer shows, it is vague. The petitioner has not demonstrated either nonimplementation or implementation of liquor prohibition policy. In the circumstances, the PIL is dismissed.
