CVNR, J & MSKJ, J W.P.No.44490 of 2016 Dt: 20.12.2016 Order : (Per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for a Habeas Corpus to direct the respondents to produce the alleged detenu- Mr.Roop Singh, S/o.Narayan Singh, Proprietor of Bhavani Jewellers & Pawn Brokers, Maruthi Nagar, Hyderabad, and set him at liberty. At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home attached to the learned Advocate-General for the State of Telangana, on instructions, submitted that Crime No.299 of 2016 on the file of the Miryalguda I Town Police Station was registered against the alleged detenu for the offence under Section 420 IPC on 05-12-2016; that he was produced before the Judicial I Class Magistrate, Miryalguda, on 19-12-2016; and that he was remanded to judicial custody on 20.12.2016.

The above submission of the learned Assistant Government Pleader is not disputed by the learned Counsel for the petitioner. In the light of the afore-mentioned facts, the cause in this Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.
