THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.486 of 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in Crime No.224 of 2013 on the file of Yemmaganur Town Police Station of Eluru Women P.S., West Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 506 and 34 IPC and Section 3(1)(x) of SCs & STs (POA) Act.

Heard.

On perusal of the entire material available on record, it is clear that there are some allegations as against the petitioners and this is a matter which has to be investigated by the police and this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in the said crime at this stage. Since it is a matter arising out of matrimonial dispute between the husband and wife, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation into the crime without arresting the petitioners herein and file a final report, if any, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous Petitions filed in this Criminal Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
