This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-accused No.1 under Sections 437 & 439 Cr.P.C. seeking to grant bail to him in Crime No.30 of 2015 on the file of Prohibition & Excise Police Station, Hayathnagar, Cyberabad, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 8 (c ) r/w Section 20(b)(ii)(c ) of the NDPS Act.

Heard and perused the material available on record. It is alleged that the petitioner along with the other accused was found in possession of 256 kgs of ganja.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence. He submitted that the petitioner was arrested on 27.6.2015 and since more than five months, he has been in jail.

Since the ganja seized from the possession of the petitioner and other accused is commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
