Virothi Nagaraju, v. The State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.820 OF 2017 ORDER :
Admittedly, the petitioners have alternative remedy of filing appeal against the impugned order passed by the 3rd respondent in LCC No.669/RJY/75, dated 2-11-2016.
It is fairly conceded by learned counsel on both sides that against the impugned order, appeal lies under sub-Section (3) of Section 20 of the AP Land Reforms (Ceiling on Agricultural Holdings) Act, 1973. In view of the availability of efficacious alternative remedy of filing appeal, this writ petition cannot be entertained and it is accordingly disposed of. It is open for the petitioner to file appeal under the said provision of law as stated supra, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, status-quo obtaining as on today shall be maintained till then. There shall be no order as to costs. However, As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
