THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 8492 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondent No.3-Sub Inspector of Police, Malkajgiri Police Station, Ranga Reddy District in seizing rented house bearing Door No.24-88/43/5/A, Lalvani Nagar, East Anandbagh, Malkajgiri, of the petitioner's son, in connection with FIR No.162 of 2017, dated 28.02.2017.

Learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that the daughter-in-law of the petitioner committed suicide in the house. In view of the same, Crime No.162 of 2017 was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 306 IPC. During the course of investigation, the Investigating Officer examined respondent No.4 - complainant and other witnesses and recorded their statements, arrested the accused and sent him to judicial custody on 01.03.2017. However, it is stated that at no point of time, the Investigating Officer seized the alleged house and the same is not required for the purpose of investigation. Therefore, the question of releasing the house does not arise. In view of the above, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.
