HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE N.V.SHRAVAN KUMAR WRIT PETITION (TR) No.3527 OF 2017 ORDER:
Today when the matter has been taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner placed a copy of Proceeding vide Rc.No.344/G4/2014 dated 15.06.2020 of respondent No.1, wherein the Para No.15 reads as under:- "In the present case, the charges framed in the disciplinary proceedings are similar to the charges in the criminal case wherein the above (4) officers have been honourably acquitted. Hence in the light of the above stated instructions of the Govt., and by taking their acquittal in the criminal case and charges framed in Oral Enquiry for Major charge into consideration, further action in the departmental proceedings initiated against the above (4) charged officers is dropped. The suspension period spent by the individuals is treated as 'On duty'.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that in view of the proceeding dated 15.06.2020, the cause in the writ petition (TR) does not survive for further adjudication and prays this Court to close the writ petition(TR). The learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents has fairly acceded to the same. 3.
Recording the submissions made by learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition (TR) is closed. 4.
Miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
